Galaxy Purchasing System


The district's bookkeeping & purchasing system is called Galaxy.  Each employee who needs to use Galaxy to make purchase requisitions and/or to check their department budgets will need access to the Galaxy system.  This is done by submitting a Galaxy request ticket through the RCCD Service Desk app on the MyApps portal (https://myapplications.microsoft.com), and selecting Technology > Software & Applications > Galaxy > Galaxy Request > Request Service.  The request will require you to enter your manager's name so that the request routes to them for approval.  Then, you will receive the login and password information by email.

Basic Galaxy training is handled by the new employee's department as part of their initial training.  Additional Galaxy help and in-depth training is done by special workshops at designated times throughout the year. 

If you forget your password and get locked out of Galaxy (after three attempts), you will need to contact the Riverside County of Education (RCOE) Helpdesk at (951) 826-6600 (and press 1) to reset your password.​

Galaxy Web is the current version of the application.  Effective March 1, 2024, to access Galaxy Web, go to https://apps.rcoe.us​.
