The Office of Academic Affairs serves the mission of the college by ensuring that the educational programs, services, and learning environments of the institution are innovative and creative, while maintaining the highest standards of academic rigor and integrity. The office of Academic Affairs also ensures that pathways exist to meet students’ educational goals to strengthen foundational skills, transfer, or complete a certificate or degree. Central to supporting excellence in teaching and learning, Academic Affairs works collaboratively with every aspect of the institution and partners with the community to promote student achievement.
Dr. Samuel Lee
Vice President, Academic Affairs
Dr. Lee has 30 years of teaching and administrative experience in private and public higher education. He has a bachelor’s in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fresno, a master’s in TESOL from the University of Southern California, and an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from the University of La Verne. Prior to arriving at Norco College, Dr. Lee served as a program director at USC and later as Dean of Language Arts and Enrollment Management at an area community college.
