Riverside Community College District (RCCD) Foundation provides scholarship opportunities for continuing and transferring students. Qualifications for scholarships vary from financial need to academic performance to community involvement. To apply for a scholarship, complete the scholarship application. Scholarships are awarded to the student(s) who best fit the criteria, as established by the donor or organization providing scholarship funds.

The Community Scholars Program (Scholarship)

The Community Scholars Program is a joint endeavor of The Community Foundation, Riverside Community College District Foundation, California Baptist University, La Sierra University, the University of Redlands and other generous philanthropists in our community who share a commitment to education. The objective of the scholarship is to reward students who have shown excellence in scholastic achievement, community involvement and mastery of knowledge while in local high schools.
The CCPRO Writing Scholarship 2022

California Community College Public Relations (CCPRO) is offering two $500 student writing scholarships.
ATHENA of Riverside Scholarship Program

The Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce is pleased to announce the availability of a $1,000 scholarship to each of our higher learning institutions, for any undergraduate or graduate college student. Applicants must be knowledgeable about their chosen field of study, have demonstrated academic achievement, have given back to their community through public service, and served as role models and mentors to others. Recipients must be available to attend the ATHENA Award presentation on Thursday, May 26 at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa at 11:30 AM. SME Education Foundation Student Scholarships
Scholarships Available for Community College Students
The application deadline is February 1st, 2022.
One scholarship application provides students with the opportunity to be considered for 60-plus Foundation scholarship funds.
As the philanthropic arm of SME, an internationally recognized nonprofit organization serving the manufacturing industry, the SME Education Foundation inspires, prepares, and supports the next generation of manufacturing and engineering talent.
The Foundation awards over a million dollars in scholarships every year to several hundred students pursing degrees in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field. Students enrolled in two-year and four-year programs are eligible for consideration.
Minimum Qualifying Criteria
• Must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States or Canada.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Must be pursing associates, bachelors, or graduate degree
• Open to high school seniors or current college students
• Students can be part time of full time to be eligible
• Must be attending University or Community College in the United States or Canada
