Athena Scholarship
The mission of the ATHENA of the Inland Valley is to open doors of leadership opportunity for WOMEN through inspiration, education, cultivation and mentoring.

 The ATHENA of the Inland Valley and the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce are pleased to announce the availability of a $1,000.00 scholarship for an eligible Norco College student. Applicants must be knowledgeable about their chosen field of study, able to demonstrate knowledge through academic achievement, have given back to their community through public service, and served as role models and mentors to others.

The deadline for scholarship applications is Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 4:00pm.

Please submit completed application packets to the Office of the Vice President of Student Services (SSV Building, Room 222).

Recipients must be available to attend the ATHENA Award luncheon presentation at the Mission Inn in Riverside on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 11:30 am. ​

California Community College Student Financial Aid Administrators Assciation (CCCSFAAA) Scholarship 
The California Community College Student Financial Aid Administrators Association (CCCSFAAA) will sponsor a total of twenty $500 student scholarships; two $500 scholarships for each of the ten California Community College regions across the state.  In addition, there will be one $1,000 scholarship from the “Mariana Deeken, Well It Depends" scholarship fund.

In order to apply you must:
  • ​​Be enrolled at least 6 units for Spring 2019
  • Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
  • Have a remaining need of at least $1000; and
  • Applied for State and/or Federal Financial Aid

RCCD Foundation Scholarships

Riverside Community College District (RCCD) Foundation provides scholarship opportunities for continuing and transferring students. Qualifications for scholarships vary from financial need to academic performance to community involvement. To apply for a scholarship, complete the scholarship application (available in mid-October). Scholarships are awarded to the student(s) who best fit the criteria, as established by the donor or organization providing scholarship funds.​

High School Seniors: You have until April 30 to submit your applications. 

The Community Scholars Program is a joint endeavor of The Community Foundation, Riverside Community College District Foundation, California Baptist University, La Sierra University, the University of Redl​ands and other generous philanthropists in our community who share a commitment to education. The objective of the scholarship is to reward students who have shown excellence in scholastic achievement, community involvement and mastery of knowledge while in local high schools.
