Professional Networking


It is estimated that 70% to 85% of all jobs are filled through professional networking, which suggests that building your network may be your best way to find a new job.  Professional networking can be conducted in person, such as at job fairs or social events, and online through websites like LinkedIn and pages coordinated by professional associations.  Visit our Professional Networking page for tips and guidance on how to develop your network.

​Unemployment Resources​


The CA Employment Development Department’s Unemployment Insurance program pays benefits to workers who have lost their job and meet the program’s eligibility requirements.  If you have become unemployed or partially unemployed, you may file an Unemployment Insurance claim.  Visit w​w​​w.edd.ca.gov/Unemployment for more information.
