Music Industry Studies is the study of contemporary trends and practices within the music industry, discussing key music technologies, global music cultures, popular music scenes, music business practice and live music performance.

Isaiah Villar
Norco College student
Isaiah Villar was selected as the 2021 Student of Distinction in the discipline of
Music Industry Studies. He was nominated by Professor Brady Kerr.
“He has been a mentor to me,” said Isaiah. “He's given so many mixing tips he's pushed me to become a better artist and better creative. And so without him, I don't think I would have been the artist... I am today.”
