Reading courses at Norco College provide students with the knowledge and skills required to comprehend college level texts and write appropriately for college assignments. The courses range from instruction in basic reading skills to instruction in reading as a critical thinking process.

Career options for students with a skill in reading and comprehension include: acquisitions editor, archivist, blogger, book reviewer, book store propietor, content editor, copy editor, grant writer, lawyer, librarian, novelist, paralegal, political scientist, proofreader, publisher, reporter, script reader, and translator.
