Tarrant comes to us from Los Angeles Trade-Technical College where she served as vice president of Pathways and Student Affairs.
Prior to LA Trade-Tech, Tarrant served as the dean of Counseling and Student Support Services at Long Beach City College. Prior to LBCC, she held several dean positions in outreach and relations, student services, and outreach and recruitment. She also served as an adjunct assistant professor at USC for twelve years. Tarrant earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Boston University, and her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California.
Tarrant is no stranger to Norco College, she worked as a student activities coordinator in 2005. Her broad experience in student services and tireless efforts to improve the student experience through guided pathways will carry forward the important work Norco College is already doing.
