Welcome to Student Health & Psychological Services at Norco College! We are here to support your health and well-being through both in-person and Telehealth appointments. Our goal is to help students make informed decisions about their health, since wellness is closely connected to academic success. Missing class due to preventable illness or stress can affect your performance, and our services are here to help you stay healthy and engaged.
Student Health & Psychological Services are available to all currently enrolled students taking at least one unit and who have paid the Student Health Fee.

Norco College Student Health & Psychological Services is available to answer your
calls year-round for all your health and program needs. While we strive to be easily
and readily accessible, Student Health & Psychological Services is closed on weekends,
legal holidays, and days of observance.

Psychological Services
Our caring Mental Health Counselors work with students to overcome various personal issues in their lives, including adjustment to college life, family/relationship issues, stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, sexual assault, harassment, and more.
Here are a few things you need to know:
- One-on-one personal counseling sessions are 50 minutes long.
- No additional cost for registered students.
- All appointments are completely confidential.
- Counselors are available five days a week.

Medical Services for Students
Our Registered Nurse is here to support the health and well-being of all enrolled students. Services include basic medical care, preventive screenings, and treatment for short-term illnesses, all at no cost for currently registered students.
Available Services:
- Care for short-term illness and minor injuries
- Preventive health screenings (blood pressure, weight checks)
- Immunization counseling and TB screening
- Community referrals and resource navigation
- Support with general health concerns
Note: While most services are free for enrolled students, some specialized services (lab work, immunizations, prescriptions) may have associated fees.
Student Health Services Fee Waiver
The Student Health Services Fee is required of all students enrolled in more than one (1) unit. This fee is mandated under Section 76355 of the California Education Code for community colleges and supports health and wellness services that benefit the entire Norco College community.
Waiver Eligibility
The Student Health Services Fee may be waived only under the following circumstances:
Religious Exemption
Students who rely exclusively upon prayer for healing in accordance with the teachings
of a bona fide religious sect, denomination, or organization may request a waiver.
Required documentation must include:
- A dated and signed letter from the religious organization
- The organization’s official seal
- A statement of the organization’s philosophy regarding health services
- Contact information for verification purposes
Approved Apprenticeship Program
Students enrolled in the Riverside Community College District apprenticeship training
program in Construction Inspection/Construction Technology may also qualify for a
waiver.
How to Apply
It is the student’s responsibility to provide all required documentation. Completed documentation should be submitted to:

Applications must be received within two weeks of the start of the semester. Applications submitted without the required documentation will not be accepted.
Waiver requests will be verified for authenticity and require approval before the fee is waived.
