Kaneesha Tarrant Ed.D.

Prior to LA Trade-Tech, Tarrant served as the dean of Counseling and Student Support Services at Long Beach City College. Prior to LBCC, she held several dean positions in outreach and relations, student services, and outreach and recruitment. She also served as an adjunct assistant professor at USC for twelve years. Tarrant earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Boston University, and her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California.

David Schlanger has served Norco College since 2018, first as the college’s Career Center Director, then as the Program Manager of the college’s Title V project PACES: Pathways to Access, Completion, Equity, and Success, and currently as the Dean of Student Services. With experience in the community college system since 2005, he has spent much of his career developing programs in Student Services areas including counseling, advising, career services, and financial education.
