Norco College is open to anyone who has graduated from high school, passed the California High School Proficiency Exam, earned a Certificate of Completion, passed the GED examination, or is 18 years of age or older.

Whether you’re new to Norco College or you’ve been here before, Admissions and Records on the first floor of the Student Services Building is the place to begin or continue your educational journey.

Dual Enrollment

The Benefits of Dual Enrollment

High School students take college course on their High School campus, taught by college faculty or High School teacher who meet Minimum Qualifications to teach college-level course:

• All student services fees are waived
• All Unit fees are waived
• Textbooks are provided for all on high school campus college courses
• The program is FREE to all students
• Builds confidence
• Students are on their home campus which is less intimidating when starting college courses
• Students do not need to worry about transportation to the college campus
• Dual Enrollment gets the student on their program of study (pathway) faster which saves the student time and money
• Not sure which pathway to choose? The program is a great way for students to explore different pathways at no cost and not wasting their college years on experimentation of courses
• The Dual Enrollment program helps to transition the students from high school to college rigor, policies and procedures
• Credit-bearing college courses are counted as core courses or elective high school credits
• Most college courses are CSU and or UC approved.
• Dual Enrollment courses, in most cases, are a weighted grade for the student high schools GPA
• Student earns college grade based on multiple and varied assessments throughout a course, not just from one high-stakes test
• Student earns transcript college credit at the time they successfully pass the course

EOPS/CARE/NextUp

EOPS/CARE/NextUp is a cluster of academic support programs that assist students disadvantaged by language, social, economic, and educational circumstances. The programs primarily serve students from low-income backgrounds, first-generation, single parents, and former foster youth. Comprehensive academic and support services are provided to increase students' retention, graduation, and transfer to four-year colleges and universities.

Basic Needs

Basic Needs: Norco College believes that in order to learn, students need to have their basic needs met: food to eat and a safe place to live. If you face challenges securing food, housing, or other basic needs, you are not alone, and Norco College may be able to help during this time of crisis. We invite you to learn about the many resources available to support you by contacting  basicneeds@NorcoCollege.edu or stopping by the Assessment & Orientation in ST107. Students, staff, and faculty can drop in during open hours, grab a snack and talk with a BNW Ambassador for resources, ideas and strategies connected to their challenges and/or support completing the CalFresh application. Or for direct support contact, Kimberly Thomas, Supervisor of the Basic Needs and Wellness program. 

Foster Youth

Foster Youth is a collaboration between college and community partners to lead the effort in improving the educational experience and outcomes of young people from foster care at Norco College.

Student Employment Office

• Distribution of Paychecks and Paystubs – ALL paychecks and paystubs will be mailed (check pickup from the Cashier's Office is no longer available).
• Timesheet Submission – All timesheets and absence affidavits will be submitted electronically.  At the end of the month, please complete your timesheet and e-mail it to your supervisor for review and approval.

Transfer Center 

Our transfer center staff is here to help you learn about important transfer information, requirements, and processes so you can increase your ability to transfer to a four-year university. We serve as the Central Hub on campus for transfer support, services, and resources.

To assist in this effort, we strive to provide comprehensive transfer activities such as our Transfer Fairs and various transfer-focused workshops. We provide knowledge on the transfer pathways available to you, transfer guarantee programs, major and career exploration, transfer application support, meetings with various universities, and transfer counseling services.

Veterans Resource Center

Norco College welcomes all veterans, active duty military members, and VA dependents with varying educational goals to begin or continue their education. Whether you are refining your skills, seeking to transfer, planning to earn an Associate Degree, or completing an Occupational Certificate, we will do our best to assist you as you embark on an exciting educational journey at our institution. 

Active duty service members and reservists are granted priority registration. Veterans are also eligible for priority registration for a period of four years when used within fifteen years after discharge from active duty. This allows those who qualify to be among the first student allowed to register for classes. Please bring your DD214 (Discharge Documents) or other qualifying paperwork to our office in order to determine your eligibility and get started. 

If you are called to active duty after enrolling in classes at Norco College, you will be allowed to drop your course(s), receive MW (Military Withdrawal) status on your transcript. The notation of MW is not counted in calculating your overall grade point average (GPA). 

Norco College fully adheres to the Veterans Access, Choice and Accountability Act of 2014 and California Assembly Bill 13.
