Experience
Dr. Sinclair's professional background includes experience working in secondary education and higher education at community college level as well as adjunct faculty at a private 4-year university. Beginning her career in academia with teaching core and CTE courses within secondary and post-secondary institutions then expanding into administrative roles of curriculum development, pathway development, program development, grant writing and implementation. She has served as a chair and team member on several Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditations. She comes to Norco College in the Student Service department with expertise in program development and grant oversight to direct the California Career Pathway Trust grant of over 12.8 million dollars. This grant includes 11 school districts and four community colleges in addition to multiple community partners. The grant increased and strengthened the student pathway connection from secondary to post-secondary completion. Additionally, though the grant a dual enrollment program was started at Norco College and is active at six high schools and will be serving over 700 student with community college courses on their high school site. Saving the student and their family's time and money.
Dr. Sinclair has extensive background in community service and event planning. She has successfully executed local, state and national conferences and workshops. Dr. Sinclair has presented to a wide variety of audiences on instructional pedagogue, classroom management, dual enrollment and many other educational topics. She is a proud member of the Assistance League of Fullerton, Kiwanis International and received Kiwanis top service award and remains active with the American Red Cross as a CPR/First Aid Instructor.
