Experience
Megan Lindeman joined Norco College in 2014 as Associate Faculty and became a full-time Assistant Professor of Art in 2017. Prior to becoming the Interim Director of Norco College Art Gallery she worked in museums and gallery in Los Angeles, such as the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles and Peres Projects. In 2013 she co-founded an artists run space called Chime&Co. in the Silverlake neighborhood of Los Angeles. There she curated many shows of painting, sculpture, and performance art until 2013. Megan Lindeman also maintains a demanding studio art practice and has shown her work at Big Pictures in Los Angeles, Blake and Vargas in Berlin, and MoMA PS1 in New York. She has guest lectured on her own work at UCLA's Art/Sci Center + Lab and various other art organizations. Megan Lindeman was once a community college student at Pikes Peak Community College is Colorado. She earned her B.F.A in Painting and Art History from Rhode Island School of Design in 2003 and her M.F.A. in Painting from Claremont Graduate University in 2008. Her interests outside of art (if there is such a thing) include surfing, dancing, and neuroscience.
