Norco College has been awarded continued funding through the 2026–2029 College Corps Request for Applications, extending its participation in the statewide program for another three years.

The College Corps program is a significant investment in student success and community engagement, providing paid service opportunities that allow students to address critical community needs while gaining valuable professional and civic leadership experience. Through the program, students serve in high-impact areas such as K–12 education, climate action, food insecurity, and other community-based initiatives across California.

Over the past four years, Norco College’s leadership and commitment have been key to the program’s success, strengthening partnerships with community organizations and expanding access to meaningful, service-based learning opportunities for students.

"College Corps was originally the brainchild of Governor Gavin Newsom that came to fruition back in 2022. Since that time, I've had the pleasure of seeing the program evolve in our district, the Inland Empire region and statewide. Last year's cohort was able to complete over 15,000 hours of service in the Norco community. The current cohort is on track to beat that record through consistent volunteering with community host partners and special short-term projects like food distributions and park cleanups. I look forward to the next four years of making an even greater impact in our community,” said Ariel Davis, Ed.D., Director, College Corps Grant.

The continued funding builds on a strong foundation established at Norco College and will enable the College to deepen its impact on students and the surrounding community through 2029.

College leaders expressed appreciation for the ongoing partnership and reaffirmed Norco College’s commitment to student success, civic engagement, and community service as core elements of its mission.
