Norco College’s Basic Needs and Wellness program recently received a generous donation from the Pomona Area Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., totaling 621 items with an estimated value of $725.

The donations included pantry staples, breakfast items, canned soups, vegetables, meat, beverages, 100 prepared snack bags, and essential non-food and hygiene supplies. Collectively, these contributions will provide approximately 375 meals to students experiencing food insecurity at Norco College.

The gift reflects the organization’s mission to address systemic barriers affecting underserved children and families by investing in programs and services that build strong foundations for long-term success. For many Norco College students, food and hygiene insecurity are significant obstacles that can impact academic performance and overall well-being. By helping meet these essential needs, the donation removes immediate barriers and allows students to focus on their education and future goals.

In addition to food items, the hygiene supplies included in the donation play an important role in promoting dignity and wellness across the campus community. This comprehensive support directly aligns with efforts to foster health, stability, and student success.

Norco College is grateful for the partnership and generosity of the Pomona Area Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and looks forward to continued collaboration in support of students.
