Norco College’s dual enrollment success took center stage at the California Coalition of Early and Middle Colleges (CCEMC), where our presentation titled "Breaking Barriers: How DualEnroll.com Enhances Access at Norco College" highlighted the program’s remarkable growth.

Associate Dean Kylie Campbell joined Admissions Specialists Carla Phillips and Shadon Reder-Sanders and Educational Resource Advisor Kasey Boyer to share how the program has evolved.

What began in 2017 with just 142 high school students has expanded to more than 1,900 students and 2,200 enrollments across 76 courses in fall 2025. Participation is projected to reach 2,023 students in the 2025–26 academic year.

In its early years, paper-based registration slowed progress and created barriers—especially for first-generation students—through missing paperwork and delayed approvals. The team described how adopting the online platform DualEnroll.com eliminated those obstacles. The system streamlines registration, reduces errors, and provides transparency for students, parents, high schools, and staff.

Key outcomes include having over 3,000 dual enrollment seats available to high school students for this Fall 2025 term and launching Norco’s first winter dual enrollment term, including expanded career and technical education offerings and in-person sections of Guidance 47 "Career Exploration and Life Planning".

By easing administrative burdens and widening access, DualEnroll.com has helped Norco College advance equity and student success across all partner districts and charter schools—fulfilling the College’s mission to open doors for more high school students.
