Norco College has received a $5,000 grant from the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) to support entrepreneurship education and student innovation. This funding will enable the College to host the Everyday Entrepreneur Business Pitch Competition, designed to foster business skills, mentorship, and creativity within the School of Business and Management.

The competition is tentatively scheduled for May 30, 2025, and will provide student entrepreneurs with the opportunity to present their business ideas before a panel of judges, competing for cash prizes to help launch their ventures.

The program includes pre-competition workshops focused on business plan development and pitch preparation, led by faculty mentors. These workshops aim to prepare participants with the skills and confidence needed for success.

NACCE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering economic vitality through entrepreneurship education, provided the grant as part of its Everyday Entrepreneur Program. The program encourages community colleges to engage students through education, mentorship, and pitch competitions that build entrepreneurial skills and community impact.

Norco College will promote the competition through various channels and collaborate with local mentors and business experts who will serve as judges and advisors. The College encourages all students interested in entrepreneurship to participate in this exciting opportunity.
