Studio Art

Studio art encompasses the creation of visual art in a wide range of media, primarily within a dedicated workspace or "studio". It involves exploring various techniques and materials to express ideas and emotions, encompassing both traditional methods like painting, sculpture, and drawing, as well as digital and mixed media.

Our art program offers art history and studio art for transfer (AA-T) degrees, and associate's degrees and certificates in the area of emphasis in fine and applied arts.

Norco College student Jenny Pham was selected as the 2024 Student of Distinction in the discipline of Art and Studio Art. She was nominated by Professors Megan Lindeman and Michelle Ramin. Hear from Jenny on why she chose Art and Studio Art as her major and her experience at Norco College.
