Mustang of the Month - May 2026

Mustang of the Month May 2026 Adam Martin

Congratulations to our May Mustang of the Month, Adam Martin, Professor of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship.

Adam Martin, Applications Specialist, is recognized as May’s Mustang of the Month for his outstanding leadership, innovation, and commitment to student success at Norco College.

As the leader of the Center for Entrepreneurship, Adam has created meaningful opportunities for students to explore, develop, and launch their own business ideas. Through workshops, mentorship, and individualized support, he consistently goes above and beyond to help aspiring entrepreneurs build confidence, skills, and real-world experience.

In addition to his work with students, Adam serves as chair of the CMAC committee, where he has led Norco College’s efforts to meet statewide Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) and Open Educational Resources (OER) mandates. Under his leadership, the college has expanded access to free and low-cost instructional materials, helping reduce financial barriers and improve affordability for students.

Adam has also demonstrated exceptional initiative as a principal investigator, securing and managing grants that have brought valuable resources and programming to campus. Among these efforts is the development of a noncredit entrepreneurship program designed to broaden access to career-building opportunities for the community.

One of his most impactful recent initiatives was coordinating Norco College’s first Access to Justice Night. The event brought together more than 40 attorneys who provided free legal guidance to community members on a variety of issues. With a strong turnout and meaningful community impact, the event established a foundation for what is expected to become an annual program.

Beyond these accomplishments, Adam co-advises the Business Club, fostering leadership, engagement, and connection among students outside the classroom while continuing to inspire through his teaching.

Adam’s dedication, service, and student-centered leadership embody the very best of the Mustang spirit. Congratulations, Adam, and thank you for all that you do for Norco College!
