Congratulations to our March Mustang of the Month, Trang Lê, Associate Professor of Art.
Trang Lê, Associate Professor of Art, is recognized as March’s Mustang of the Month for her dedication to students, creative excellence in the classroom, and her commitment to the Visual Arts community at Norco College.
Known for her kindness, patience, and thoughtful approach to teaching, Trang creates a classroom environment where students feel supported, encouraged, and inspired. Her courses span a wide range of artistic expression, from expressive oil paintings and skillful acrylic works to hands-on projects like student-designed printed t-shirts and even performance art “happenings” in the Norco College Art Gallery. Under her guidance, students consistently produce meaningful and beautiful work while growing in both confidence and skill.
Beyond the classroom, Trang is a supportive and proactive colleague. She regularly checks in with fellow faculty, helps address classroom needs as they arise, and actively supports the department by attending art openings, lectures, and events in the Norco College Art Gallery and across campus—often volunteering her time simply because she cares about the program and our students.
Trang also creates incredible opportunities for her students by curating and installing exhibitions of their artwork throughout campus, across the region, and even internationally. She frequently does this in her own time, driven by her genuine belief in her students and their creative voices.
It’s no surprise that students enthusiastically enroll in her classes again and again. Her mentorship, encouragement, and passion for the arts leave a lasting impact on the diverse and talented students she serves.
Trang’s dedication, creativity, and collaborative spirit exemplify the very best of the Mustang spirit. Congratulations, Trang, and thank you for all that you do for Norco College!
