Norco College, Norco, California
Experience
Ray possesses 10 years of hands-on experience in the field of facilities, specifically in maintenance, grounds and custodial, with 8 years of broad experience in the California Community College system.
Ray has proven himself to be a leader at Norco College, one that goes above and beyond to serve our students, and the college community. Ray has progressed through the ranks at Norco College, first serving as a Custodian, Acting Custodial Manager, and promoting to Grounds-person in April of 2019. He holds 4 years of leadership experience with LAUSD and LACCD. Ray is someone who works hard to ensure a culture of care throughout the campus community by the way he serves others. He believes as a leader, it is important to serve the college community every day with integrity and compassion.
Ray has earned an Associate's degree in business administration from Norco College and plans to transfer to Cal-State San Bernardino Fall of 2024 after completing his second degree here at Norco College, to pursue further studies. Of course, he is a die-hard Dodger fan... "GO BLUE", roots for the LA Lakers basketball team, and loves the Atlanta Falcons. Something you may not know about him - Ray states "I truly believe in servant leadership and being a positive example to those I come in contact with." He enjoys spending time and making memories with his friends and family, going to rock concerts, and going to the Dodger games! Another fun fact is you will catch Ray out by the soccer field and or in the community running.
Please take a minute to congratulate Ray on this promotion, as his actions have demonstrated his dedication to student success and our college community. His experience, education and leadership will truly make the difference in ensuring Norco College continues to be a high-quality destination for students and employees alike.
