Professional Development students

Norco College's Extended Learning Program and the City of Corona are bringing tuition-free noncredit courses to the Corona Public Library. Whether you're looking to start a business, strengthen your financial knowledge, or develop new career skills, these flexible courses can help you reach your goals.

Open to all adults ages 18 and older, participants can enroll in individual courses or complete a certificate program to earn a Norco College noncredit certificate.

Available Certificate Programs

Entrepreneurial Essentials Certificate

Turn your business idea into reality by learning the fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
Complete the following four courses to earn your certificate:

  • Introduction to Entrepreneurship
  • Entrepreneurship Basics
  • Starting a Business with Limited Resources
  • Money, Finance, and Accounting for Entrepreneurs

Financial Literacy Certificate

Build confidence in managing your finances and planning for the future. Complete both courses to earn your certificate:

  • Personal Finance
  • Financial Future

All Entrepreneurial Essentials and Financial Literacy courses are offered in a hybrid format at:

Getting started is easy.

How to Enroll Step 2 circleStep 2: Activate Your MyPortal Account

Within one to two business days, you'll receive a welcome email with your RCCD student ID number and instructions for activating your MyPortal account.

How to Enroll Step 3 circleStep 3: Register for Classes

Log in to MyPortal and register for the courses you'd like to take.

How to Enroll Step 4 circleStep 4: Attend Class

Hybrid and online courses: Course materials will be available in Canvas on the first day of class.

In-person meetings: Attend the first class session at the Corona Public Library. If a textbook is required, purchase it before class begins.
