School of Natural Sciences, Health & Kinesiology

The Norco College School of Natural Sciences, Health & Kinesiology offers a number of certificate pattern programs. Certificate programs, leading to an associate of science degree require a minimum of 18 units (6 classes or so).
 

Certificates can be completed within one and a half to two years and lead to employment! Each course required for the certificate must be completed with a "C" grade or better and all can be counted toward the degree as well as the major.

Mission Statement

The Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Health Science, Kinesiology, Physical Science, and Physics programs are part of the School of Natural Sciences, Health & Kinesiology and, as such, have developed the following mission statement: 
 
“The Norco College School of Natural Sciences, Health & Kinesiology provides learning in a wide variety of disciplines. Professionals include chemists, scientists, engineers, physical therapists and athletic trainers. The School of Natural Sciences, Health & Kinesiology includes a program that provides assistance to students pursuing the physical, life, and natural sciences, health and kinesiology degrees. Scholars receive career and academic counseling, mentoring and assistance with the transfer process."

Spring 2025 Student Spotlight Eliza Fabian

Eliza Fabian values excellence, responsibility, and self-motivation. She never settles for just “an answer” without a thorough explanation of how that answer was derived. She successfully takes a heavy course load each semester while balancing her out of school obligations, demonstrating that her time management skills are top-notch.
