Norco College’s Music Department will release its 29th studio album, “when the rivers forget us,” on July 25, 2025. The release marks 15 years of student-produced projects that combine artistic exploration with professional-level production.

Over nearly a decade and a half, Norco Music has built a remarkable catalog of 29 original albums—each a reflection of the creativity, collaboration, and talent of its student artists. What began as a classroom project has grown into a vibrant body of work that continues to inspire creators and listeners alike.

“This isn’t just another album. It’s a milestone. A love letter. A testament to everything we’ve been—and everything we’re still becoming,” said Brady Kerr, assistant professor of Music Industry Studies. “Gigantic gratitude to the hundreds of students who have entered this atmosphere and left it better than they found it.”

“when the rivers forget us” follows recent releases such as “fragment(s)” (2025), “Still Winter” (2024), and “Gravity” (2022). Together, these works showcase Norco Music’s dedication to offering students hands-on experience in recording, mixing, and distributing their original music.
