On October 6, students joined a poetry workshop led by Poet, storyteller, and author of "Dreaming Under Polka-Dot Stars," Cory Cofer. Students enjoyed a series of readings of Cory's poems and received poetry-writing prompts to encourage their inner poets. The prompts helped students craft original poems, which they were then invited to perform for the audience. Several of our Mustangs stepped up to the mic and recited their verses. An inspiring, creative event for everyone in attendance!
