Norco College Partners with ASU Online to Offer Special Tuition for Degrees

Norco College | May 27, 2026

Norco College students now have a new path to earn a bachelor’s degree without leaving California through a special tuition rate offered by Arizona State University.

ASU is extending the California Community College Achievement Plan (CCCAP) across California, broadening access to flexible online bachelor’s degree pathways for students and alumni from every California community college.

Through this expansion, eligible Norco College students and alumni can receive a $450 per-credit special tuition rate when enrolling in an ASU Online undergraduate degree program.

This seamless transfer pathway is designed to reduce financial barriers and expand access to high-quality higher education. The special tuition rate is available to all eligible students regardless of income, with no separate application required. Student eligibility is automatically determined through official transcripts.

“This partnership creates an exciting new opportunity for Norco College students and alumni to continue their educational journey with greater flexibility and affordability,” said Monica Green, Ed.D., president of Norco College. “By expanding access to bachelor’s degree programs through ASU Online, we are helping students pursue their goals while supporting the workforce and economic needs of our region.”

The program expands access to undergraduate degrees from a top-ranked public research university, particularly benefiting place-bound students and those in regions without nearby university options.

To be eligible, recent Norco College students and alumni must have earned an associate degree or at least 30 credits from an accredited California community college, must not have previously earned a bachelor’s degree, and must not have previously been enrolled at ASU. No separate application is required as eligibility is automatically assessed through the admissions process using official transcripts.

Many Norco College students pursue transfer pathways and career advancement opportunities in fields such as administration of justice, communications, sociology, political science, and kinesiology.

ASU Online reimagines the college experience by providing students with comprehensive support from enrollment through graduation and beyond. Students can choose from more than 180 undergraduate degree programs, all taught by the same faculty and with the same curriculum as ASU’s on-campus programs.

“We believe access to higher education should not be limited by geography or cost,” said Casey Evans, ASU EdPlus Chief Operations Officer. “The California Community College Achievement Plan expands opportunity statewide, creating more accessible pathways through ASU Online for students to earn their degrees and contribute to California’s future.”

Together, ASU Online and Norco College are supporting California students and alumni by preparing them for careers in high-demand fields such as business, engineering, information technology, healthcare, education, and behavioral sciences.
