Norco College was named a finalist for the Eastvale Chamber of Commerce’s Champion of the Year award, which honors organizations that have made significant contributions to the local community. The winner was announced at the chamber’s Installation Dinner and Awards Banquet on Wednesday, July 31, 2025.

Norco College was nominated alongside Waste Management and the award winner, the City of Eastvale—both key partners in the region’s continued growth and development. As a Silver sponsor of the event, Norco College proudly supported the celebration of local leadership and collaboration.

The college’s nomination highlights its expanding collaboration with the City of Eastvale, particularly through Norco College at Eastvale, which will be housed in the city’s upcoming Innovation Center—a major project slated to open by 2028. The center will serve as a hub for education, workforce training and entrepreneurship, with Norco College as a key educational anchor.

“Our presence in Eastvale reflects a shared commitment to building a strong talent pipeline and ensuring local students have access to affordable, high-quality education close to home,” said Norco College President Monica Green, Ed.D. “We’re honored to be recognized alongside such impactful partners.”

Norco College serves as a launching pad for Eastvale students—supporting career pathways, hands-on training and academic advancement. As the city’s innovation ecosystem evolves, the college is proud to help shape Eastvale’s future through education and workforce development.
