All eight Inland Empire College Corps campuses gathered at the Riverside Convention Center for the fourth annual Fall Convening, bringing together hundreds of students dedicated to service, leadership, and community impact.

Participants engaged in a dynamic, leadership-based service-learning curriculum led by Seeds Training, designed to strengthen collaboration, self-awareness, and civic engagement. The event also featured inspiring remarks and insights from Josh Fryday, Chief Service Officer for the State of California Governor’s Office; Riverside Mayor Patricia Locke Dawson; and California State Senator Sabrina Cervantes, who each shared their personal journeys in leadership and public service.

In addition to the leadership activities, students had the opportunity to network across campuses and cohorts, connecting with peers from Norco College and Riverside Community College District, who have since transferred to CSU San Bernardino and UC Riverside.

The day concluded with a unified Oath of Service, modeled after an oath of office, reaffirming the students’ shared commitment to making a lasting difference in their communities through service and leadership.
