Norco College is proud to announce that it has been selected as a returning partner for the 2024-2026 #CaliforniansForAll College Corps program.

The two-year grant facilitated by California Volunteers, Office of the Governor (CV), includes funding support for the planning and implementation of the College Corps initiative, along with supplemental funding for program infrastructure and administrative needs. Norco College's grant award totals up to $1,817,760, facilitating the placement of 100 College Corps Fellow positions. Additionally, a $150,000 planning grant has been allocated to build program infrastructure and meet supplemental funding requirements.

By accepting this grant, Norco College agrees to comply with all CV policies and requirements, ensuring adherence to federal and state statutes, regulations, and guidelines. Continuation funding for subsequent years will be contingent upon the availability of appropriations and program performance.

The College Corps Fellows at Norco College will join the ranks of the California Service Corps, the largest service force in the nation, encompassing four paid service programs: #CaliforniansForAll College Corps, #CaliforniansForAll Youth Jobs Corps, California Climate Action Corps, and AmeriCorps California.

"We are thrilled to be awarded this grant and to continue the impactful work of the College Corps program at Norco College," said Monica Green, President of Norco College. "This initiative provides our students with invaluable opportunities to develop leadership skills, engage with their community, and earn support for their college education."

Throughout their journey, Norco College’s College Corps Fellows along with their RCCD counterparts, have collectively completed over 16 thousand hours, with an astounding 87% of those hours dedicated to direct service to our local communities. The remaining 13% were devoted to their professional development and training. Norco College looks forward to the new cohorts' continued success.

Norco College expresses gratitude to California Volunteers, Office of the Governor, for their continued support and looks forward to collaborating on the #CaliforniansForAll College Corps program.
