Shazna Uduman

Educational Resource Advisor, Career & Technical Education

Please join me in welcoming a familiar face to Career Education, Shazna Uduman. Shazna is joining Career Education as the Educational Resource Advisor and will work closely with our Adult Education and Apprenticeship students.

 

Shazna brings over 12 years of experience in higher education, starting at Norco College in Admissions & Records. Shazna has served as an Operations Assistant,  Academic Success Coordinator for Athletics and Student Services Specialist. She has assisted in coordinating programs such as Dual Enrollment, Athletics, and California Promise Grant appeals while collaborating with multiple departments and staff across the college. 

Shazna was born in Sri Lanka, grew up in Canada, and calls California home. She graduated with a Honors Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, double majoring in Economics and Industrial Relations with a minor in Sociology. Shazna is actively involved in campus activities, serving on the Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Advisory Council 

Outside of work, she is a proud mother of three children: twin sons, one a recent UCLA graduate, the other will graduate from Cal State Fullerton this spring and a daughter who is a junior at UC Santa Barbara. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and friends, capturing sunsets, enjoying beach days, crocheting, and traveling with her husband. Spain is next on the travel list!
