Computer Information Systems

Computer information systems are computer technology, both hardware and software. Principal areas of study within computer information systems include artificial intelligence, computer information systems and networks, security, database systems, human computer interaction, vision and graphics, numerical analysis, programming languages, software engineering, bioinformatics and theory of computing.

Our computer applications program offers computer science for transfer (AS-T) degrees, math and science associate's degrees and certificates.

Norco College student Gerardo Devola was selected as the 2023 Student of Distinction in the discipline of Computer Science. He was nominated by Professor Daniel Grajeda.
