Humanities

The humanities are academic disciplines that study human culture. The humanities use methods that are primarily critical, or speculative, and have a significant historical element—as distinguished from the mainly empirical approaches of the natural sciences.

Our humanities program offers a transferrable degree in humanities, philosophy and arts.

Norco College student Devin Dadah was selected as the 2024 Student of Distinction in the discipline of Humanities. He was nominated by Professor of Humanities Michael Bobo.
