Psychology is the scientific study of brain, behavior, and mental processes.​ It is an academic discipline and a social science which seeks to understand individuals and groups by establishing general principles and researching specific cases.

Career options​ ​for students who get a degree in psychology include: therapist, data scientist, manager, human resources officer, physician, ​researcher, career counselor, police officer, case manager, child care worker, sport psychologist, and parole officer.​

​​Ahmad g​​r​aduated from Norco College in 2018 with an associates degree in p​sychology and transferred to UCLA.
