Mathematics is ​the abstract science of number, quantity, and space. Mathematics may be studied in its own right (pure mathematics), or as it is applied to other disciplines such as physics and engineering (applied mathematics). Algebra, arithmetic, calculus, geometry, and trigonometry are branches of mathematics.

Tiffany Pan Tiffany Pan


​​Tiffany Pan is an alumnus of Norco College who is currently a software engineer on the Android Platform team at Square.


“During my time at Norco College from 2014 to 2016, I had been a part of the STEM program, tutored in several math and science courses,” said Pan. “Then I transferred to UC San Diego as a Math Computer Science major, where I tutored for lower division computer science classes. After graduating from UCSD in 2019, I moved to San Francisco and started working at Square in August 2019.”
