Desiree was nominated for how brilliantly she goes about serving as critical administrative support to the office of Planning and Development. Desiree embodies grace under pressure facilitating not one, but two college council meetings. Some may not know, but there are a multitude of tasks, and much coordination that goes into the work of a college planning council and Desiree has worked tirelessly to ensure these meetings run seamlessly. Desiree is gracious with her time, working to support the Planning and Development team as important positions are filled. These are just a few of several ways that Desiree serves the college with a smile which helps brighten everyone’s day.

To give you a greater glimpse at the heart Desiree has for our students, when told this recognition comes with Corral Bucks, her response was: “We have a couple of students in our Puente, Umoja and MOC program who I will love to treat to a hot breakfast. The corral bucks will help feed a few more students.” Desiree is truly a gem at Norco College.

Mustang of the Month is designed to highlight employees that exemplify Norco College's core commitments mentioned below.

Nominations are solicited from Norco College employees. The college president will select a recipient each month whose achievements fit the criteria.​​
