Amazon donates to food pantry and more

Amazon Donation

The Amazon distribution Center in Eastvale partnered with Student Life at Norco College and donated three pallets containing hundreds of items ranging from food, personal care, kitchen items, books, children's toys, office supplies and electronics. The donation was enough to stock the food pantry, clothes closet and host a free swap meet for students.

“Amazon is committed to giving back to the communities where our associates live and work, which is why we work to make sure all children and young adults have the resources they need to build their best future," said Shevaun Brown, Amazon public relations manager.

Since spring of 2017, the Associated Students of Norco College successfully launched the Norco College Food Pantry. Over the last two years, the College distributed nearly 2,000 bags of food to enrolled students and received a $3,000 donation from Stater Bros., Inc. If you are interested in donating to our food pantry, please feel free to do so. Find out the hours of operation and list of needs here.
