58 NORCO COLLEGE STUDENTS REGISTER TO SAVE LIVES
The Norco College Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) student club partnered with Be The Match for one day and received 58 student registrations to become potential blood stem cell donors.
"As an honor society we strive for excellence in the classrooms and doing things that positively impact our school and community,” said Shannon Spradlin, PTK president. “There are many members in PTK who have been affected by cancer and other blood disorders, myself included. It was an easy decision to help reach as many lives as possible."
Paula Schwartz, recruiter from Be The Match, mentioned that Norco College had the most registry sign-ups compared to the eight colleges she works with.
