In Memoriam
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Professor Barbara Moore, Associate Professor of Biology, vibrant friend and colleague passed away unexpectedly on June 24, 2023. Barbara has been an integral member of our Biology Discipline for 17 years and will be greatly missed. This sudden loss of a close friend and colleague will be deeply felt and our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.
There will be great sadness in mourning the loss of our dear friend and colleague. For those who have had the privilege of knowing and working with Barbara, we know this will be a challenging time. We know our Mustang family will support one another. Additionally our district offers free support services through our Employee Assistance Program, including crisis support and short-term counseling for those who are feeling overwhelmed and are in need of grief support.
Join us for a Celebration of Life for Barbara Moore, Tuesday, September 19, 12:50pm-1:50pm, in the Center for Student Success, 2nd Floor, Room CSS-217.
Barbara will be greatly missed.
