Timeline for 2020 Accreditation Institutional
Self-Evaluation Report (ISER)
Fall semester 2017: Co-chairs and committees established.
Spring 2018: Standards Committees begin work. Gap analysis + evidence + rough compilation for each standard.
Summer 2018: Combine drafts + edit. Identify needed evidence and elements. Work on District portions. Work on front matter.
June 25: Standard 1A drafty draft sent to ACCJC liaison with questions for feedback
By July 5: Begin discussions with Dr. Susan Mills, vice chancellor of Educational Services about District portions of ISER
By July 5: Standards drafty drafts merged into one document and uploaded to SharePoint
By July 26: Organize evidence using naming conventions
By July 26: Front matter (including, as much as possible, college history, ISER process, data sections, org. charts and function maps, compliance with eligibility requirements and commission policies) drafty-drafted and organized
August 20: Full drafty draft completed
Fall 2018: Committees review/revise/update drafts. Continue to work on front matter as needed. Further evidence gathering. Gohar Momjian, ACCJC vice president and Norco College liaison, to visit the college.
August 24 (during morning session): FLEX day presentation--showing the drafty draft on SharePoint
September 21: Accreditation Standards committee meetings, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
October 31: On-campus advanced ISER training with ACCJC Vice President Gohar Momjian, 12:30-4:30 p.m.
November 15-27: Individual Standards committee meetings with accreditation co-chairs.
December 3: Standards committees’ revised drafts due
Winter 2019: Revise/edit full ISER; update as needed. Continue to work on evidence.
Spring 2019: Quality Focus Essay (QFE). Continue revisions and updates for ISER and evidence. Distribution of ISER for first readings and comments.
February: Begin QFE process
March 15: One-hour individual Standards committee meetings completed
Early March: ISPC and accreditation co-chairs align QFE to EMP, Strategic Plan, statewide Vision for Success 2030
Early April: Draft of QFE
April 2: Standards teams’ draft ISER deadline (accreditation co-chairs take control of ISER)
April 29: Draft of QFE merged into full ISER draft and distribute to nor-all
April 30-May 3, 2019: ACCJC Conference (accreditation co-chairs attending)
May 6: Academic Senate first read of ISER
May 7: COTW first read of ISER
May 10: APC first read of ISER
May 14: BFPC first read of ISER
May 15: ISPC first read of ISER
May 16: ASNC first read of ISER
May 22: SSPC first read of ISER
May 29: Executive Cabinet first read of ISER
Summer 2019: Final revision of ISER, including QFE. Updating data/evidence.
Fall 2019: Final updates. Revised ISER distributed and second/final reading and approvals in participatory governance committees. Board of Trustees approval.
August 22: Flex presentations on ISER/accreditation
September: Second readings and approvals in shared governance committees
October: Final updated evidence documents from District
October: Submission to Board of Trustees for November Board meeting
November: Board of Trustees approval of ISER
November (following Board approval): Complete signature page and upload final ISER to flash drive, with evidence, to send to ACCJC
December: Send ISER flash drive to ACCJC
March 2-5, 2020: Accreditation team visit.
