Brittnee Quintanar considers herself a success story of the California community college system and knows first-hand many of the potholes and roadblocks that students face along their educational journey. She attended Crafton Hills College and San Bernardino Valley College where she earned her Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Associate of Arts in Accounting. She transferred to California State University, San Bernardino where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology before earning her Master of Arts in Educational Counseling with P.P.S. credential from the University of Redlands. With her love for numbers, data, and research she worked as a Research Analyst at Crafton Hills College before starting her counseling career in 2014. Over the last 5 years she worked in the general counseling office, the Transfer Center and the Career Center. She helped pilot and implement synchronous online counseling services at Crafton, worked closely with the research office to develop qualitative and quantitative measures for evaluating PLO’s for the counseling department, and has taught guidance courses. She is passionate about the community college system and the students we serve, never hesitating to advocate on their behalf. She feels honored to have a career she loves and the privilege of guiding students along their educational journey, helping them to discover and achieve their educational and career goals, and providing support and resources along the way. Her second job is that of “Mama Uber” for her two very active children. In her spare time she enjoys practicing yoga, but most of all she loves to travel, explore new places, and meet new people!!
