Athena of the Inland Valley
The Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce announced the availability of a $1,000 scholarship to for higher education institutions. The deadline for the scholarship ATHENA-Scholarship-Application-edited.pdf submission is April 15, 2021. Applicants must be knowledgeable about their chosen field of study, have demonstrated academic achievement, have given back to their community through public service, and served as role models and mentors to others. Recipients must be available to attend the virtual ATHENA Award presentation on May 27 via Zoom at noon. The mission of the ATHENA of the Inland Valley s to open doors of leadership opportunity through inspiration, education, cultivation and mentoring.
Applications will be reviewed and one person will be selected and notified by April 22. Scholarship applicants are encouraged to visit the website for ATHENA International. Please email the scholarship application to firstname.lastname@example.org by April 15, 2021.
ASNC Transfer Scholarship
The Associated Students of Norco College will award $200 to 100 Norco College students who applied for transfer to University of California, California State University, or private 4 year colleges for the 2021-2022 school year. Qualified applicants must provide evidence of applying to campuses, and will be considered based on demonstrated need for the funds and service to the campus or the community. The scholarship is intended to assist students with payment of the intent to register fees and transfer application fees. Applications due by: April 18, 2021 at 11:59pm.
Because College is Expensive Scholarship
The $500 “Because College is Expensive” Scholarship is open to all students and those planning on enrolling within 24 months. High school juniors & seniors, adults looking to head back to school, current college students and anyone else looking to attend college or graduate school. The California Community College's Chief Information Systems Officer Association (CISOA)
The 2021 CIOSA Student Scholarship Program will award ten $10,000 scholarships to currently enrolled in college at least part-time (6 units) with a 3.0GPA or higher with a declared major in an Information Technology related field of study. CALIFORNIA-NEVADA AMERICAN WATER WORKS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
Four $2,500 scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students interested in a drinking water related career field. This includes environmental and civil engineers; water, wastewater, and recycling treatment plant operators; distribution system operators; chemists; laboratory technicians; biologists, ecologists and environmental scientists; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades; financiers; economists.....whatever the role that supports safe drinking water. Measurement Science Conference (MSC) Scholarship
The Measurement Science Conference (MSC) has an established fund to grant scholarships of up to $2,000 to students in an Engineering, Science, or Quality Assurance degree program. The scholarship prize also includes admission to the 2021 Measurement Science Conference exhibit hall, the MSC luncheon, and any technical programs offered during the July 19th through July 22nd 2021 Measurement Science Conference. Attendance at the conference provides a valuable opportunity for students to learn about and experience being in a professional environment and to begin forming their professional network. PALANTIR WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP
Ten scholarship recipients are chosen to visit Palantir's headquarters in Palo Alto, CA for a day, all expenses paid. Programming includes professional development sessions, breakouts with Palantir engineers and fun social activities. All recipients are awarded a $7,000 scholarship to support their education. The SCIENCE, MATHEMATICS AND RESEARCH FOR TRANSFORMATION (SMART) SCHOLARSHIP
The Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship-for-Service Program is funded by the Department of Defense (DoD). It is a combined educational and workforce development opportunity for bachelors, masters, and Ph.D. students to gain technical skills in critical STEM fields and support the national security mission of DoD.
