RCCD Foundation Scholarships

Applying for scholarships offered by the Riverside Community College District Foundation is easy and the application is now open! There are over 250 scholarships available to students and only ONE application is needed to apply. If you are an admitted RCCD (Norco College, Moreno Valley College, Riverside City College) student and have a student email address you can apply. Click here for more information.​​  The application will close on Friday January 15, 2021 at 5 pm.   • All students are encouraged to apply! Scholarships are available for students continuing at Norco College or transferring to a university in 2021-22 and for all types of programs such as: Athletics, Business, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, Humanities, Math, Science, etc. There are also scholarships for re-entry students, Veterans students and scholarships that do not require a specific major or GPA.

  • The scholarship application website also includes a year-round listing of scholarships for external scholarship opportunities (not provided by The RCCD Foundation).

Because College is Expensive Scholarship

​The $500 “Because College is Expensive” Scholarship is open to all students and those planning on enrolling within 24 months. High​ school juniors & seniors, adults looking to head back to school, current college students and anyone else looking to attend college or graduate school.​ ​Click here for more information and to apply.


This is an opportunity for eligible students to earn an award up to $1,000. Applicant must be currently enrolled in high school or college, or plan to enroll in the next 12 months. The deadline to apply is the last day of each month. ​​Click here​ for more information and to apply.

Fund the Future Study Soup Scholarship

You could win an easy $2,500 scholarship by drawing an original superhero who uses STEM to make the world a better place! Use our template to create a poster for your schools’ classrooms. HACU Scholarship Program 

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is offering scholarship opportunities for students to assist in defraying some of your college expenditures.  ​Click here​ for more information and to apply.​​

​The Science, Mathematics and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship

​​The Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship-for-Service Program is funded by the Department of Defense (DoD). ​A full-tuition scholarship for a woman pursuing a STEM major. Film a three–minute educational video of yourself explaining a STEM topic you're passionate about. ​The Following Scholarships Will be Offered Again in the Fall:


$3,000 scholarship for female college students pursuing a STEM degree. ​Click here for more information. Applications open in January and are due by April 15th.


Four $2,500 scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students interested in a drinking water related career field. This includes environmental and civil engineers; water, wastewater, and recycling treatment plant operators; distribution system operators; chemists; laboratory technicians; biologists, ecologists ​and environmental scientists; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades; financiers; economists.....​​whatever the role that supports safe drinking water. Click here for more information.​


​Ten scholarship recipients are chosen to visit Palantir's Washington, D.C. office for a day, all-expenses paid. Programming includes professional development sessions, breakouts with Palantir engineers, and fun social activities. All recipients are awarded a $7,000 scholarship to support their education. Applicants must be full-time college students pursuing a STEM major and be from a underrepresented racial/ethnic group (African-American/Black, Hispanic, Native American).​ Click here for more information. ​​Ten scholarship recipients are chosen to visit Palantir's headquarters in Palo Alto, CA for a day, all expenses paid. Programming includes professional development sessions, breakouts with Palantir engineers and fun social ac​ti​vities. All recipients are awarded a $7,000 scholarship to support their education.
