Norco College Friends and Partners,

We are kicking-off our second annual Giving Week on October 4-8, and our goal is to raise $40,000 for the newly established Norco College Endowed Veterans Scholarship, which will support student veterans each year with books, tuition and living expenses.

This year's Giving Week will feature testimonials of our veteran students, alumni and donors, along with a sneak peek of the new Veterans Resource Center. Your support will help provide the necessary resources our students veterans need to attain academic success. Please donate today. For sponsorship opportunities, please contact the RCCD Foundation office at 951-222-8626.

Norco College has a history of doing great work with veterans. We have an active Veterans Resource Center serving over 500 students from the armed services. Through our VRC, we provide veterans with support for financial aid, GI Bill, counseling, academic support, camaraderie, and more. The VRC maintains a close relationship with the Navy base adjacent to the college and successfully led in the development of federal legislation to assist veterans with college finances and turning military credit to college credit through the Military Articulation Platform (MAP). For these reasons and more, Norco College has been named a Military Friendly School and has been identified a Best for Vets College six times since 2015 by the Military Times.

Our veteran students selflessly go out of their way to protect our core liberties, which is why Norco College is committed to serving them with the same selfless dedication. You can help too by sponsoring Giving Week. Will you chip in and help us meet our goal?

This opportunity comes at a perfect timebecause we are celebrating 30-years of transformation and gearing up for the grand opening of the new Veterans Resource Center this fall. Get inspired and view sponsors, our promise to veterans, VRC construction photos, renderings, videos and more.

Thank you for supporting Norco College Veterans!

With gratitude,
Monica L. Green, Ed.D.

Norco College Named Best for Vets

Military Times Best Colleges for Vets 2021

For the sixth time since 2015, Norco College ranked Best for Vets by the Military Times.

Norco College ranked 40 nationally in the two-year colleges category and five of only eight California community colleges to make the ranking.

“What an honor to be repeatedly ranked among the best colleges for veterans,” said President Monica Green. “Norco College is committed to serving veterans and active service members in their transition from classroom to career. I share this excitement with our remarkable employees, students and community members.”
