Wellness Events & Workshops

Norco College Student Health Services is hosting Virtual Daily Wellness Activities Monday through Friday for our students on an ongoing basis. Come to one or all daily activities, learn, and share ways to balance and manage stress. Every day we will have different activities that reflect on the various topic regarding mental health and wellness.

Stop by Student Health Services all month long to pick up your lime green awareness pin and sign a pledge to advocate for mental health awareness on campus.

May 1-5: Mental Health Action Week

Participate in Mental Health Action Week online workshops aimed at providing valuable insights and tools to support mental health. May 2: Yoga for Health

Experience the benefits of yoga for mental wellness! Join us for a rejuvenating yoga session crafted to nurture your mind, body, and soul. Practice grounding and relaxation techniques to alleviate stress as we near the end of the semester.

May 2: Know the Signs

Engage with the statewide suicide prevention social marketing campaign, "Know the Signs." Learn how to recognize warning signs, initiate conversations with individuals in crisis, and access professional help and resources.

May 16: Directing Change

Attend the Riverside County-Directing Change Screening and Recognition Ceremony. Directing Change aims to prevent suicide, combat stigma surrounding mental illness, and promote the mental health and wellness of students statewide.

May 23: Mental Health Fair

Join us for an interactive, family-friendly event highlighting various mental health and wellness programs available throughout Riverside County. Explore resources supporting mental and behavioral health, substance use prevention and treatment, overall wellness, and more.

Know the Signs Virtual Presentation

Though warning signs are subtle, they are there.  By recognizing these signs, and knowing how to start a conversation & where to turn for help you have the power to make a difference, the power to save a life.​​​​​

Course Information: Know the Signs is a statewide suicide prevention social marketing campaign built on three key messages: Know the signs. Find the words. Reach out.
