Vice President, Academic Affairs
Dr. Dieckmeyer’s administrative leadership is informed by 22 years of teaching experience, 10 of which was at Norco College where she was a tenured faculty member in the field of reading. After serving in many capacities as a faculty leader Dr. Dieckmeyer moved into administration, first as the Dean of Instruction and currently as the Vice President, Academic Affairs.
As the Vice President, Academic Affairs she is the Accreditation Liaison Officer for her college, providing leadership and oversight for all accreditation efforts. She also oversees strategic planning and is the administrative co-chair of several strategic planning bodies which exist at her college as well as a member of numerous other committees including Assessment and Student Success. She also serves on the Executive Cabinet of the President and the District Academic Cabinet. Dr. Dieckmeyer oversees five deans in the areas of Instruction, Career Technical Education, Grants & College Support Programs, Institutional Effectiveness, and Technology & Learning Resources. As such, she has oversight over two Title V federal grants which support dynamic new career technical programs and one Title III STEM grant totaling over $10 million.
Diane Dieckmeyer earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Master of Arts in Education with a Reading Specialist Credential from the University of California, Riverside, and completed a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at the University of Southern California.
